The Organisation
The NCE is a non-profit-making neurological rehabilitation centre, caring for German, English and French speaking patients, at Elzach in the Black Forest of Germany, near to the city ofThe Patient´s Problem
NCE offers treatment to adults and older adolescents with the following injuries and problems: Traumatic brain injury, apoplexy (stroke) and brain haemorrhage, hypoxic brain damage, brain tumour after surgery, inflammation or metabolic disorders of the brain, Multiple Sclerosis, degenerative diseases like Parkinson, Alzheimer etc., injury and disease of the spinal cord, injury and disease of the nervous system, general geriatric rehabilitation.Facilities
NCE has no barriers inside or outside of the buildings. Single and double rooms are available. All rooms have wheel chair accessible bathrooms and most have wide balconies with lovely views of the countryside.Staff
NCE has a dedicated staff of both medical doctors and health care professionals for: Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, Neuro-psychology, Speech therapy, Art therapy, Special education, Social work, Psycho-therapy etc.
